Bologna Hosts Scientology Volunteer Ministers Exhibition

Bologna Welcomes the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Travelling Exhibition

Bologna's Piazza Lucio Dalla is hosting the travelling yellow tent of the Volunteer Ministers of Scientology, as part of a travelling programme visiting Italian cities.

The inauguration brought together around 100 participants, including representatives of communities assisted by Volunteer Ministers after natural disasters.

Among them was Pianoro Mayor Luca Vecchiettini, who remembered the practical help received by his community following the 2024 floods. Restaurateur Fabrizio Lazzarini also recalled the Volunteer Ministers helping his business recover after the flooding.

Andrea Ferrarini, formerly involved with civil protection in Bondeno, spoke about volunteer support given to communities affected by the 2012 earthquake.

Founded by L. Ron Hubbard in 1976, the programme offers practical tools for communication, relationships and problem-solving alongside humanitarian response.

Inside the Bologna tent, visitors can see displays about humanitarian work and practical assistance while learning about practical approaches to interpersonal difficulties and daily problems.

Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of disaster response Scientology to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and UN, described the Bologna initiative as an example of practical solidarity and civic responsibility.

The yellow tent shows how the Volunteer Ministers programme combines emergency response with practical help for daily challenges.
